    • 1900 Census lists Hattie as Annie. This could be a mistake or she could go by both name....Also states that she has been married for 17 years....

      1910 states that Hattie has been married for 21 years and Mervin has been married for 27 years... could this be a mistake.. 21 years would make the married in 1889. Could this be why I am unable to obtain a marriage certificate.
      1900 Census lists Hattie as Annie. This could be a mistake or she could go by both name....Also states that she has been married for 17 years....

    • 1920 Census for Bayonne City ED 11 SD 9 Sheet 11B listed as Hattie living with son and husband

      1910 states that Hattie has been married for 21 years and Mervin has been married for 27 years... could this be a mistake.. 21 years would make the married in 1889. Could this be why I am unable to obtain a marriage certificate.

      1900 Census for Jersey City ED 107 SD 1Sheet 5A, Listed are Mervin, Annie (this is Hattie, why she is listed as Annie I dont know) and Ward, Census says they have been married for 17 years, Occupation is listed as Stewart. They are renting a house on 371 Grand Street
