    • 1900 Census lists Hattie as Annie. This could be a mistake or she could go by both name....Also states that she has been married for 17 years....

1910 states that Hattie has been married for 21 years and Mervin has been married for 27 years... could this be a mistake.. 21 years would make the married in 1889. Could this be why I am unable to obtain a marriage certificate.

Mervin Kilmer, of New Jersey ad been spending a few days in this place..
Hiram Kilmer went to New Jersey this week.

So on a personal note…. Base on the articles dated February 11 1887 and Friday December 21 1888. I can only assume that Mervin and Hattie and baby Ward move to New Jersey around December 1888… because Hiram went to New Jersey that week and Mervin of New Jersey was spending a few days in Pine Plains….. They appear in New Jersey State Census in 1900 in Jersey City.
